There are three days left to enter the Advanced Reider’s Copy giveaway! Click here to participate. You could be one of the three lucky ladies reading Near Perfect Attraction – Donovan’s Story, next week!

On a different note, Nick and Bee make an appearance at midnight PST and I know you’re all waiting for the other shoe to drop. I laugh wondering what I’ve done to make you so paranoid. Can’t they just be happy? Can’t we have a year of bliss with no outside forces giving them grief and tearing them apart??? I suppose that would make for a boring story. In order to keep you entertained, there must  be a roller coaster ride of some sort. Just think of December and January as the climbing part of a never-ending roller coaster ride! Since I’ve divulged this much, I might as well give you a teaser. (You see, I can play nice! 😉 )

(This is from Nick’s POV and he’s on a date with Bee.)
“Laney once told me you were the smartest Reid. Is that true?”

“I don’t know if that’s true. Jake is brilliant at what he does, Dad and his brothers are brilliant in their respective fields, and that freak-of-nature cousin of mine achieved what none of us could achieve in college. She graduated with the highest honors.”

“You guys are all scary smart.”

“We’re only book smart. I find people like you who can create something out of nothing to be scary smart. I love watching you draw your sketches, or sitting at your monster sewing machine, going at it like you’re playing a concerto on the piano. My favorite might be how straight you can cut a piece of fabric with that super-sized pair of scissors.”

“You’ve watched me that carefully?” Bee was at a loss for words.

“You get into this trance when you’re creating and it’s a beautiful sight.”

(It’s another happy blog?!? See you all at midnight.)

I wouldn’t say we’re paranoid. We just know you’re right, the story would be really boring if they stayed at this point. Bring it on DW, we all love to see all the twists and turns you have coming to us. Thanks for the teaser. Cant wait to see where this goes.
