Thank you all for all your posts and emails wishing us a happy vacation. It was as happy as it can get with a 10 year-old, a 12 year-old, and a 12 hour flight x 2. Actually, our entire family had a great time and the kids are always amazed at how different cultures function so similarly and differently than our own. Now, I’m back to loads and loads of laundry, trying to keep the kids awake (since they didn’t sleep last night) so they can be back on a regular schedule for school, and wondering what to make for dinner since I emptied out the refrigerator before we left. Yep, back to the grind.
Though I did a little writing on the plane, I didn’t even think about the blog nor the book while I was away. That was refreshing, yet weird. Max, Jane, and Donovan have consumed my mind for the past four months and for the first time, I was either too busy or too exhausted to think about any of them. During one particularly long train ride, I tried to continue the June blogs in my head and I couldn’t remember where I’d left off. That was a first! But, I’m back and hoping to get Indelible Lovin’ – Max & Jane’s Story Vol. 1 self-published as soon as I get two more blogs out to you. That will be my big project for the next couple of weeks. If I can work fast enough, perhaps I can get it up by early next week. We’ll see…
As for MJ’s April blogs, spring is in the air, which means…LOVE is in the air. There will be new love, old love, secretive love, strengthening of love, and of course, the growing pains that come with love. We start off April in Hawaii where you’ll meet Max’s younger brothers and think that possibly one of them could be the hero of Unlikely Attraction. Hannah will show her true colors (good or bad?!? You’ll find out soon enough). And there’s a circus in town on the Reid cul-de-sac. This month is lighter, happier, but still filled with question marks. I suppose those questions won’t get answered till everything is completely done.
Hope you enjoy this month’s blog as much as I enjoyed writing them.
