DG CEE WordPress Takeover – Again!

OMG!!! Hello. It’s DG Cee, again, and I know it hasn’t been long since I last posted, but I just read the first section of Delilah and Nolan’s story and I had to write. It’s so funny and it’s a great read!

Even though Nolan hasn’t made an appearance yet, you get to see the Reids – all 150 of them- and hear about the crazy things the adults are putting the next generation through! Delilah is incredible and her fiance is super cool. But, I can’t give away too much, or else my mom won’t let me read anymore. This time, I’ve been given permission to post my favorite bit of the story. This was definitely one of the best and funniest parts. Here it is!

“I was so proud of Rhys for trying to acquaint himself with this intimidating family.

“So, where can I find this ‘May I Date Your Daughter?’ application?” he asked with sincerity.

No surprise, Dad had one nearby and handed it to him. “Has Delilah told you about our voting policy?”

Rhys couldn’t hide his amusement. “She has and I can’t wait to meet all the family members who have a vote.”

GTG now – I need to review my Spanish oral one more time, but I’ll see all you lovely Reiders next time!

P.S. If you see anything in the story about cardboard cutouts, that was my idea 🙂

The Impossible Tale of Nolan & Delilah

Two teasers up on my website. Story coming soon…!

Just saying…

It’s kinda weird not to be prepping a blog to be scheduled for a midnight delivery. Part-relieved, part-lost…what does one do on a Sunday night after the kids have gone to bed??? 😉

I’ve written more than half of Book 2 of 10K Reasons. This one is called Relationship Reasons. I’ve been eavesdropping on Delilah and Nolan’s conversations and formulating how I want to re-tell their story. I promise, I’ve been keeping busy.

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. My family is well. One child is asleep as I type. The other is prepping for bed since tomorrow is the first day of school. Incidentally, this same child, my son, is also learning to drive and continually asks to drive my car. Life is a series of trials, huh? I fear for our lives when he’s behind the wheel. 🙂

Hopefully, I’ll send something out for you to read, very soon. Until then, shoot me an email if you have any questions or comments. I’d love to hear what you all thought of Estelle’s Story. Did I deliver on the promise that Estelle’s Story would be the sweetest one of them all?
