Thank you all for your overwhelming response to the Rafflecopter challenge. Some of you should have received the blog about an hour ago. Hope it lives up to your expectations. I am now truly on vacation and I ask those ladies who’ve received the blog – NO spoilers, please!
We all survived the 13 hour flight. Once I get settled and am able to log on, I’ll figure out the lucky 20 and email Dem Bones. Wishing you all luck.
We are hopping on a 9:00am flight, Sunday morning, excited to spend 10 days sightseeing, eating good food, and enjoying family togetherness 24×10! Before I leave, I wanted to tell you that I added two more pages to the Dem Bones blog. After reading all your comments, I went back and added answers to what I thought would be questions in your head. I usually don’t go back and change, nor add to the already written blogs, but this time, I felt it was necessary. The result? I’m happy I did. It turned out beautifully (if I do say so myself).
I see that so many of you are zealously trying to get yourself into The Chosen FIVE. I’ve been floored with how many of you have responded with enthusiasm. Because your enthusiasm is contagious, I’ve decided to widen the circle to The Chosen TWENTY! Keep it up, and get yourself in a better spot to be picked by the Rafflecopter.
Because I can’t ever go completely dark on you all, I thought that while I’m away, I’d open up the comment area of this post to questions that you may have for me. If you have any questions for me that does not pertain to future storyline/spoilers about MJ’s blog, please post it here and I’ll answer whenever I am in a wifi zone. You can ask anything…I don’t promise to answer everything. 🙂 Ask away, Ladies.
See most of you in a while, and I’ll see TWENTY of you on Tuesday.
I wanted to leave you with something to look forward to in April. Rather than waiting for the entire blog to be done, I’ve decided to compile the blogs from “A Harley Man?” to “Shocking(est) Confession!!!” and turn it into a book. This Volume 1 will contain six prologue blogs that lead up to “A Harley Man?” And to clarify, aside from the six prologue blogs (two of which you’ve read if you were with me during the Facebook Challenge), the rest of the blogs are the same. It’s just a compilation for those many readers who’ve told me that they would like to read from start to (half-way) finish, without having to click through my website. This is not a new book for you, if you have been reading my blogs.
Once I get back from my trip, I will be taking down most of MJ’s archived blogs. If you have friends who have wanted to read this series, please tell them that they need to get to it soon. I will publish on Smashwords, first, in order to get the iBooks version going (since they take so long). Then, I’ll have it up on Kindle. While the blogs are on hiatus, I encourage you all to reread from the day Max & Jane reunite.
Every time you respond to anything DW Cee, my phone gets pinged. My husband told me this morning that he had to silence my phone last night because there was way too much pinging going on. I woke up to more emails than I could read without being late to drop-off! I take it you are all dying to read what happens between Max and Jane?
Before I give you a teaser, I let my FB friends know that the easiest way to earn point is to like any one of my FB posts. If you are not on FB, there are plenty of other ways to earn points, but each time you like a post, it’s 2 points. The more points you have in the pot, the more likely it is that you’ll be one of the lucky 5.
So to get you even more pumped about this drawing, here’s a little teaser for ya!
“Are you staying?” Max taunted.
“No, Asshole. I’m not!” I yelled and opened the door,
Hold on to your comments and FB likes till midnight PST when the contest begins. You can earn more points. For those of you who already commented on today’s, I’ll add it to your point total.
The first good news – I’m about to send out tomorrow’s blog…TODAY! In fact, as soon as I give it one last read-over, I’m posting it ASAP.
The second good news – Because this post is my usual style of being a teeny-tiny bit twisted (or demoniacal as some of you may believe of me), and because I didn’t want to leave you all cliff-hanging for the next two weeks, I decided to give it away as a prize. You can click on the Giveaway box on my Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/DWCee/app_228910107186452), or a Rafflecopter giveaway, and you will find multiple ways of earning points for a chance to receive the next blog in a few days. I am going to take this blog with me in the drafts folder of my inbox and email it to five lucky winners. Contest begins midnight, March 22, 2013 and ends midnight March 26, 2013. Good luck Ladies, and I’ll see you again in April.
The blogs this week will go out Monday, Wednesday, Friday, (and possibly one more on Saturday). There will NOT be a post on Thursday as some of you have mentioned. And then, we are on hiatus for about 10 days.
Congrats Ladies! You did it.
Team Max – 47
Team Donovan 48
Fence – 5
Though technically Max lost out by a point, I guess we’ll never know for sure unless the fence people choose a side. Here’s the teaser you’ve all been waiting for. See you again in 12 hours.
“Well, we thought that we owed it to Hannah,” his mom answered cryptically.
“Oh Mom. You don’t owe me anything. I’m so grateful you’ve allowed me to stay here rent-free while I try and figure out my life. And it’s wonderful to reconnect with Max and Garret and Josh.”
“Hannah, we owe you more than a roof over your head.” Max’s dad finally spoke.
Gawd…will someone explain to me what’s going on? Max and Hannah were both looking uncomfortable.
“We should never have disapproved of your plans to get married,” Mrs. Davis said calmly, while I was about to jump out of my seat.
“MOM!” Max raised his voice in anger.
